Google Safe Browsing Advisories

Just found a nice new utility, Google Safe Browsing Advisories.

Google Safe Browsing Advisories are reports as to whether or not a website is considered “suspicious” based on Google’s visits to the site.  Suspicious sites seem to be sites that either host, or link to malware.

To get the report for your site, visit http://google.com/safebrowsing/diagnostic?site=<your site>

For example, the report for the CTV Olympics Website can be found here:

http://google.com/safebrowsing/diagnostic?site=ctvolympics.ca

These reports could be useful for debugging sites that are blocked by corporate firewalls, checking on sites that you suspect may be infecting your computer, or verifying that your own sites are not infected.

Thanks to thanks Twitter user DBast for this tip.
